Description A manufactured fiber in which the fiber-forming substance is a long-chain synthetic polymer composed of at least 85% by weight of acrylonitrile units, and no more than 15% by weight of vinyl acetate.
Application Short cut Acrylic fibers are used for reinforcement in high heat applications, and to create porosity and loft in nonwovens.
Feature Dispersion: Easily dispersed in aqueous and non-aqueous systems. Surface treatment to aid dispersion applied as required.

Moisture Regain Average Moisture Regain of Acrylic: 1.0 to 2.5%
