Description | ECTFE is the abbreviation for "ethylene chloro-tri-fluro-ethylene". ECTFE is a polymer that is of high chemical resistance, flame retardant ( LOI > 50) and can be used in a wide range of continuous operating temperature (-75°C to 150°C), similar to PTFE. In contrary to PTFE, ECTFE in fiber form can be crimped, enabling it to be used in non wovens. |
