Structure
Description Cellulose is one of the most abundant renewable macromolecular natural resources in the world. Cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin exist in plant cells in a combined or semi-combined manner. Due to the strong interaction between cellulose molecules due to the hydrogen bonding of hydroxyl groups, and the existence of a large number of hydroxyl groups on the cellulose molecular chain, cellulose has strong reactivity. Cellulose propionate is a cellulose ester polymer in which the hydroxyl group in the cellulose molecule is propionated.
